Together with game designer Johan Veen I had been tasked to create either an emergent game through mechanics, or through story telling aspects. We decided to create a compelling story, here the player would be able to select a choice out of a certain amount of choices, and the story would play out further until the next choice comes up. We made this game through RPG Maker MV. We first made a basic set up for a story board and while making the story we implemented it in RPG Maker MV.
Our first idea was to create 4 scenario's, we however exceeded our own expectations and managed to create 7 different scenario's and a total of 27 different endings.
While this has certainly been one of my more unique projects it has also been one of the more pleasant ones. The feeling of creating this world was certainly a fun experience, and while the game might have some flaws here and there, it's definitely one that will stay with me for a very long time.
